LUMINOUS TRAIL is a set of modular, kinetic oil lamps that allows you to light up flames in an interactive and playful manner, while creating a multitude of different light effects. It can serve as an adaptable centre piece for dinner parties, or decoration.

The name of the project derives from the Latin word for light, “lumen”.

The differently sized modules can be combined in nearly infinite ways. Each piece carries a number of hand crafted glass tea-lights placed in a circular arrangement, and is connected to its neighbours via cog wheels at the bottom of the design. The modules vary in diameter and height for maximum versatility, and thus allow for any table and room to be fitted.
